I should have posted this yesterday, but what can I say... I was lazy. And banned from using the internet. lol.
So, I spent my 06-06-06 (666) in a nice way, a way I'm sure Satan himself would have approved of. I slept in allllll the way till 2:30pm, then went to see The Omen at the Paramount (downtown) with my friend, then we went for some girly face product shopping, then had some great drinks and shisha at a great lounge on Bishop called the K Lounge who had the coolest bartender ever (I think his name was Chris... :S), then we went for some ultra amazing Pad-Thai and then, sadly, went our seperate ways. Sooo, I bet all you movie go-ers are dying to know... How was The Omen? Here's my humble opinion.
A good beginning, a steady almost slow pace plot and a terrifying ending, make this movie a 8.0/10 in my books. A great date movie, I think, because there ARE some long bits where nothing interesting happens, so... That's always a good thing for young couples sitting in the back row... Sigh, I miss that. Anywho, fragile hearts beware, there are a few *screams* moments... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! :D
